Hi I am Nikhil Kommi Nandakumar, I am studying for a masters in Industrial Engineering and Management in Linkoping University. My Journey through AIESEC has been wonderful. AIESEC gave me a platform to understand the world issues which are of concern to each one of us. I do strongly believe in UN sustainable goals, that aims for change in the way we live around the world but this can truly be achieved only if we believe in it.

Through my experience in Serbia, I was able to meet a lot of people from Egypt, Tunisia,
China, Russia, Turkey and off course Serbia. We were able to interact with each other, share our stories, our food, our experiences, our problems, our ideas this led us to have one goal that is willing to strive for change for the betterment of people irrespective of nationality, religion, ethnicity etc.

The experience I gained from this exchange changed my perception about the world, this made me
realize how more connected we are, how we have many things in common.

I worked for E-Reciklaza an environmental company that focuses on e-recycling which helped me understand how e-waste can be recycled like TVs, refrigerator, small electronic devices. I had a wonderful time in the company, where I had the opportunity to work in sales and operations and also in the engineering department. I had daily interactions with co-workers of the company, they were really interested in my understanding of e-recycling and what are ideas I had for the future sustainable concept. I thank my friends from AIESEC in Serbia (Nis) for hosting me but also gave me the opportunity to understand their culture and traditions.

The experience I gained from this exchange changed my perception about the world, this made me realize how more connected we are, how we have many things in common.
